Literary values is a quiz, running on a modded base of 8values, that attempts to map your reader/writer profile. You will be presented by a statement, and then you will answer with your opinion on the statement, from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree, with each answer slightly affecting your scores. At the end of the quiz, your answers will becompared to the maximum possible for each value, thus giving you a percentage. This is just a game, so answer honestly!

There are five axes - and each has two opposing values assigned to them. They are:
ORIGINAL
Those with higher scores of originality prefer texts with original characters and plots.
AUTHORSHIP
DERIVATIVE
Those with higher scores of derivative prefer texts with characters and plots based or inspired by other works.
CANONICAL
Those with higher scores of canonical prefer texts of consolidated genres or by known authors.
AUTHORITY
ALTERNATIVE
Those with higher scores in alternative prefer experimental texts, or texts by marginal writers or subjects.
POETIC
Those with higher scores in poetic prefer texts that express feelings.
PURPOSE
NARRATIVE
Those with higher scores in narrative prefer texts that tell a story.
PAPER
Those with higher scores in paper prefer reading/writing books on paper.
MEDIUM
DIGITAL
Those with higher scores in digital prefer reading/writing books on digital format.
FICTION
Those with higher scores in fiction prefer texts created from the imagination.
GENRE
NONFICTION
Those with higher scores in nonfiction prefer texts focused on actual events or people.

This site uses Google Analytics. As well at the end of the test, you will be given the option to fill out general demographic information about yourself. There will be 3 options. The first will take you to a small survey and will record your answers to that along with the results. The second will just record your results. The third will not record anything. All information recorded is totally anonymous.
